10/10
Steppin’ into this place felt like I was visitin’ family. The folks there were as friendly as can be, made me feel right at home. Breakfast was a feast, especially loved that they remembered I like my eggs sunny-side up. View of the river from my room? Just beautiful. Only wished the bed was a bit more comfy, though!

Charming stay in a historic gem
Stepping into Podewils feels like visiting a well-loved relative's home. The enchanting breakfast included made my mornings delightful, and the staff made every effort to make my stay memorable, even providing personalized service with a smile.
While the hotel's history adds charm, some areas reflect needed updates. I found the bathtub a bit challenging to navigate, and one evening, my choice of dinner was less appealing, lacking flavor and freshness.

Spacious room with a river view and a welcome drink of Mead and chocolate sets a pleasant tone for your stay. The breakfast selection includes made-to-order items, ensuring a hearty start to your day.
Ground floor rooms lack privacy, with noise from cars seeping in at night. If you're there during peak hours, the breakfast slot reservation can feel restrictive, limiting your morning routine. Additionally, the secured parking area behind the hotel gets quite hot, which can be inconvenient if you're keeping perishables in your vehicle.

Couple deserves a little luxury
This was our second stay at this lovely hotel! The breakfast was excellent, I swear the omelette was the best I've ever had. And the staff remembered my preferences from before, felt like family.
It wasn’t exactly a bargain, but for what you get, I’d say it’s worth every penny.

It was pricey, but for the quality and service, it felt justifiable.

A delightful stay with incredible views and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere. The breakfast spread was extraordinary, featuring fresh options that made mornings feel special. However, the bed's uncomfortable setup with two singles pushed together was disappointing, and I experienced a lack of privacy on the ground floor due to noise. The location, while not in the busiest part, allowed for peaceful nights and was just a short walk to the city's attractions.
